Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the transformation of manual processes, the remote Automation Engineer will build, schedule, monitor, and maintain automated workflows to acquire schedules and medical records from multiple EMR platforms, delivering validated files into a cloud data pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Playwright-based browser automations and RDP/desktop automations for EMR systems
- Automate schedule downloads and medical record retrieval, implementing file validation and error handling
- Monitor bot executions, detect failures, and maintain automation logs and audit trails
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building UI/browser automation with Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer
- Experience with desktop application automation via RDP or similar methods
- Strong scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Storage and BigQuery
- Experience with job scheduling/orchestration tools like cron, Cloud Scheduler, or Airflow
