Automation Engineer II

Job Summary

Collaboratively building machine learning solutions, the full-time remote Automation Engineer II will analyze large-scale cloud usage data, develop models for cost attribution, and work closely with engineering teams to implement these models into production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evaluate experiments to validate model accuracy for cost attribution and resource consumption
• Collaborate with internal partners and senior scientists to translate requirements into modeling problems
• Monitor the performance of deployed models and contribute to the technical growth of the team

Required qualifications

• Experience developing and evaluating machine learning models applied to structured business or financial data
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and experimental design
• Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing tools like Spark
• Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and MLOps concepts
