Automation Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing automation team, the full-time Automation Engineering Lead will define and execute the automation technology strategy, ensuring the delivery and performance of network automation platforms while fostering collaboration across organizational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the automation technology strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities
• Oversee the performance, stability, and supportability of automation platforms, driving engineering quality and operational excellence
• Lead the automation team, embedding best practices across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous development

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in software engineering leadership and SDLC delivery
• Proven ability to define and execute technology strategy and platform roadmaps
• Strong experience leading automation, DevOps, or platform engineering teams
• Demonstrated capability in people leadership and organizational capability building
• Familiarity with tools such as Nautobot, Ansible, AWX, Rundeck, or GitLab CI/CD
