Automation Performance Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Automation Performance Test Engineer will design, execute, and analyze UI performance tests for complex web applications, ensuring scalability and responsiveness while collaborating with Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute UI-focused performance, load, and stress test scripts using JMeter or similar tools
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Integrate performance testing activities into CI/CD processes for continuous validation and maintain performance baseline metrics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in performance testing for UI/web applications
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter or similar performance/load testing tools
• Experience designing scalable performance tests that simulate real-world load patterns
• Experience working within Agile or SAFe development environments
• Ability to create clear user stories and performance test documentation
