Automation Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and executing automated test scripts, the full-time remote Automation Quality Engineer will validate software application functionality and data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance quality assurance strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and data validations
• Execute automated test cases, report results, and track software defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of overall testing experience with 1 to 2 years in automation testing
• Proficiency in Java programming and experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and JUnit
• Experience validating ETL tables/data using SQL and knowledge of AWS services for testing batch jobs
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
