Automation Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and developing automated test scripts, the full-time remote Automation Quality Engineer will validate software functionality, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document software defects using tracking tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts and execute test cases
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with the software engineering team to understand application functionality and testing requirements

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of overall testing experience with 2-3 years in automation testing or equivalent training
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Collibra DQ, Karate, JUnit, TestNG)
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database testing
• Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and JIRA or similar management tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
