Job Summary

To support the North America Public Sector Naval agencies, the full-time remote Automation Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving subscription sales and services of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, while creating sales opportunities through strategic demand generation efforts.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop new strategic sales opportunities and lead customer presentations around business problems and Red Hat solutions
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of products and enable account teams on current sales strategies and use cases
  • Coordinate with Customer Success to ensure delivery of proposed business value and drive growth beyond initial sales
Required qualifications
  • Proven experience selling technology products to Naval agencies or the Department of Defense
  • Strong understanding of the buyer journey and experience using the MEDDPICC framework for opportunity qualification
  • Experience with automation technologies, particularly Ansible or comparable solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex sales cycles
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for technology and strategic thinking capabilities
