Job Summary
To support plant operations, the full-time Automation Technician will troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, provide technical support to teams, and perform root cause analysis while working flexible shifts including weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair breakdowns or malfunctions of electrical equipment
- Provide direction to technicians and perform root cause analysis to improve process reliability
- Design control circuits and calibrate electronic instrumentation for processing and packaging areas
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in electrical/electronics maintenance or related technical field, or equivalent apprenticeship/military experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Electrical Code and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
- Willingness to flex schedule, including extended shifts and weekends as needed
- Current forklift certification or ability to become certified; ability to operate scissors lift
