Automation Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Automation Test Engineer will assess software quality through automated and manual testing, develop test plans and scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless user experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts while analyzing results to ensure software quality
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Test Engineers to create effective test strategies and documentation
- Identify, document, and manage software defects using bug-tracking tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4 years of automation software testing experience
- Experience with Selenium Test and Agile methodology
- Proven ability to create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports
- Experience supporting a federal government department, preferably the Department of Veterans Affairs
