Automation Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support ongoing software quality assurance efforts, the long-term contract Automation Test Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and the Robot Framework in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build, scale, and maintain automated test suites utilizing Python and Robot Framework libraries
- Run automated tests and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing
- Identify test failures, debug issues, log bugs in tracking tools, and verify fixes
Required qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and its keyword-driven approach
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug tracking software (Jira)
- Solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, and API testing processes
