Automation Tester

Job Summary

To support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs, a full-time remote Automation Tester will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts while ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and implement automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Jira
• Analyze requirements to develop detailed test cases and execute automated tests, reporting defects to the development team
• Conduct performance testing and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business workflows

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of professional automation testing experience
• Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, JIRA, Jenkins) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
• Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
