Automotive Diagnostic Technician

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Contract Automotive Diagnostic Technician, the role focuses on providing remote diagnostic support through chat, assisting customers with troubleshooting and scans using diagnostic tools, while leveraging prior automotive repair knowledge and understanding of DTCs.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist customers with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting via chat support
• Utilize OE or aftermarket scan tools to perform vehicle diagnostics and document findings
• Interpret automotive service information and technical service bulletins to guide customers effectively

Required qualifications:

• Automotive Certification or 5+ years of experience in Automotive ADAS/Diagnostics
• Proficiency with OE or aftermarket scan tools and procedures
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems including engine management and safety systems
• Ability to read and interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and service information
• Strong customer service skills and computer literacy
