Automotive Safety Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a DRE, Airbags & Safety Restraints professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional integration efforts to meet crash safety metrics
- Create development vehicle crash plans and execute DVP&R processes for restraint components
- Coordinate system level safety tests and manage safety integration activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in automotive safety, vehicle testing, or safety integration
- Design development experience of restraints components at OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Strong knowledge of FMVSS, ECE, NCAP, and automotive safety protocols
- Proficiency in CAD design, preferably CATIA V6
