Automotive Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a Level 2 Automotive Specialist for an 8+ month contract-to-hire position, this full-time role will assist technicians in recalibrating vehicle sensors for ADAS systems, requiring strong diagnostic experience and a process-driven mindset, with remote work and occasional visits to Plymouth, MI.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist technicians in the recalibration of vehicle sensors and ADAS systems
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve automotive issues
• Document and interpret automotive service information and technical service bulletins

Required qualifications:

• Automotive Certification or 5+ years of experience in Automotive ADAS/Diagnostics
• Proficiency in OE or Aftermarket Scan tools and procedures
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engine management and safety systems
• Experience in reprogramming/flashing automotive ECUs is preferred
• Previous experience in a dealership or as a lead mechanic at an independent shop
