Automotive Technical Examination Agent

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Examination Agent STAR (Hybrid - Must live in the Detroit, MI Area) with automotive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls and tickets for technical assistance, creating cases in Cherwell and providing diagnostic direction to dealer technicians
• Document all customer contacts and technical cases, ensuring clear documentation throughout the case lifecycle
• Provide technical support to internal groups and communicate product issues to Quality, Engineering, and Technical Advisors as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High School Graduate (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Automotive Service Excellence Certifications (ASE) preferred
• At least 3 years of automotive repair experience
• 2-3 years of experience with Cummins 6.0L Diesel Engine required
• Basic PC software knowledge including Windows and keyboarding skills
