Automotive Technician

Job Summary

Experienced Automotive Technicians will find a full-time hourly opportunity in Plymouth, MI, where they will perform diagnostics, troubleshoot vehicle systems, and utilize OE or aftermarket scan tools to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing advanced automotive systems, including engine management and safety systems
• Utilizing diagnostic tools to interpret and document service information and technical service bulletins
• Providing exceptional customer service while following established service and repair procedures

Required qualifications:

• Automotive Certification or relevant automotive training
• 5+ years of experience in automotive diagnostics, specifically with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS)
• Proficiency in using OE or aftermarket scan tools
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic knowledge and ability to interpret Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
• Previous experience working in a dealership or as a lead mechanic at an independent shop
