Autonomy Software Engineer

Job Summary

As part of a collaborative team, the full-time Autonomy Software Engineer will design, develop, implement, integrate, test, and demonstrate advanced algorithms and software systems for autonomous platforms, supporting various programs throughout the software and system development lifecycle, while enjoying a flexible hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced algorithms and software systems for uncrewed systems and multi-agent collaboration
• Implement and integrate software tools for mission planning systems and automated control processes
• Test and demonstrate software solutions, ensuring they meet operational requirements and performance standards

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with a BS in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of experience
• 1+ years of experience with C++ or Java and full stack development, focusing on backend algorithmic development
• Proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and code optimization
• Experience with Agile software lifecycle methodologies and tools, such as JIRA and Sonarqube
• Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies and a demonstrated ability to learn new languages and technologies
