AV Incident Management Manager

Job Summary

Leading the incident management function within the Systems Risk Management team, the full-time remote AV Incident Management Manager will oversee the end-to-end incident response process for autonomous vehicle operations, ensuring incidents are managed accurately and timely while supporting regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the incident management process across all AV operational sites for consistent incident response
• Enable regulatory incident reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to authorities
• Develop and maintain incident response standards and operational protocols aligned with safety and risk management

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in incident management or safety operations within a regulated industry
• Direct experience with regulatory incident reporting to federal or state transportation authorities
• Proven experience designing escalation structures and on-call coverage models for 24/7 operations
• Track record of collaboration across Safety, Engineering, Legal, and Operations functions at a senior level
• Experience in building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
