Aviation Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support a growing aviation program, the part-time Aviation Adjunct Faculty will teach up to 3 courses per term remotely, providing a student-centered learning environment and engaging in instructional best practices for adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in synchronous or asynchronous seminars and maintain virtual office hours
• Manage student correspondence and facilitate discussions, ensuring a supportive learning environment
• Submit accurate reports on student grades and progress in accordance with the academic calendar

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in aviation or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
• Verified experience in professional flight and/or aviation management
• Preferred 1 year of online higher education teaching experience
• Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
