Job Summary

Aviation Audio Specialist is a freelance, remote position for flight students or aviation professionals in Canada, focusing on transcribing and validating pilot-to-tower audio to enhance AI systems for aviation safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to and transcribe real pilot-to-ATC audio recordings accurately
• Review and validate AI-generated transcriptions for accuracy in aviation terminology
• Label and annotate audio data to assist AI systems in understanding aviation communication

Required Qualifications and Education

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a flight training program (PPL, CPL, ATPL, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with standard pilot-to-ATC communication and aviation radio phraseology
• Comfortable working with audio tools and structured data entry
• Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to meet quality benchmarks independently
• No prior AI or data labeling experience required; guidance will be provided
