Job Summary

A company is looking for an Aviation Communications Transcriber (ATC).

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe real-world Air Traffic Control (ATC) pilot audio recordings
• Carefully label speakers, callsigns, instructions, and responses
• Correctly capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and phraseology

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of aviation phraseology
• Experience with fast, noisy, real-world radio communications
• Background as a pilot, student pilot, Air Traffic Controller (ATC), or aviation professional
• Detail-oriented and patient with audio work
• No need for professional transcription experience, but understanding aviation communications is essential
