Job Summary

A company is looking for an Aviation Communications Transcriber (ATC).

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe real-world Air Traffic Control (ATC) pilot audio recordings
• Label speakers, callsigns, instructions, and responses accurately
• Capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and phraseology correctly

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of aviation phraseology
• Experience with fast, noisy, real-world radio communications
• Detail-oriented with patience for audio work
• Background as a pilot, student pilot, Air Traffic Controller (ATC), or aviation professional preferred
• No professional transcription experience required, but familiarity with aviation communications is essential
