Job Summary

Aviation Data Specialist is a remote, freelance position that involves listening to and transcribing pilot-to-ATC audio recordings, reviewing AI-generated transcriptions, and annotating audio data to enhance AI systems in aviation.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe real pilot-to-ATC audio recordings with precision
• Review and validate AI-generated transcriptions for accuracy
• Label and annotate audio data to assist AI systems in understanding aviation communication

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a flight training program (PPL, CPL, ATPL, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with standard pilot-to-ATC communication and aviation radio phraseology
• Comfortable working with audio tools and structured data entry
• Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to meet quality benchmarks independently
• No prior AI or data labeling experience required; guidance will be provided
