Avionics Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Avionics Software Engineer to support aerospace customers in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software requirements ensuring traceability to system requirements and adherence to DO-178B/C standards
• Design, code, and implement embedded software for various avionics systems using C/C++
• Perform software integration tests and verification activities to ensure alignment between requirements and software

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science
• Minimum of 5+ years of Software Engineering experience in avionics for aircraft or spacecraft systems
• Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience on Avionics Embedded Software or equivalent Airborne Systems
• Experience in analyzing and decomposing System Level requirements into Software High-Level and Low-Level Requirements
• Working knowledge of DO-178B/C processes and standards
