AVP Application Security

Job Summary

To lead the development of Application Security and AI Security programs, the full-time contract-to-hire AVP Application Security will build security capabilities, provide leadership to engineering resources, and partner with technology and business leaders in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the organization's Application Security and AI Security programs
• Establish program goals, priorities, and performance expectations while developing meaningful security metrics and executive reporting
• Partner closely with technology, engineering, and business leaders to embed security into the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Significant experience leading Application Security, Product Security, or Security Engineering functions
• Strong understanding of modern application development and the software development lifecycle
• Working knowledge of AI Security and the security implications of emerging AI technologies
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure, and a strong understanding of cloud security
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and manage stakeholder relationships
