AVP M&A Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) M&A & Reinsurance Risk Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Review transaction documents and pricing assumptions related to prospective reinsurance transactions
• Identify, assess, and communicate deal risks, including actuarial, investment, and operational risks
• Advise senior management on deal economics and ensure compliance with transaction governance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a comparable field
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant insurance experience, preferably in insurance product pricing
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or comparable accreditation preferred
• Quantitative risk management experience with an applied insurance background is considered valuable
• Technical proficiency in actuarial calculations and modeling, with experience in software such as AXIS or MG ALFA
