AVP Underwriting - Georgia

Job Summary

Managing a mid-size team, the full-time AVP Underwriting - Georgia will actively participate in production underwriting, marketing, and processing for the Primary Casualty line of business while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual profitability and production goals for assigned lines of business
• Underwrite and analyze new business and renewal submissions while managing broker relationships
• Promote team development and ensure alignment with underwriting trends and marketplace changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of underwriting experience, with a focus on marketing
• 5 years of management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with Imageright is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience in developing and implementing annual department business plans
