AWS Amazon Connect AI Engineer

Job Summary

To shape the future of customer experience, the contract AWS Amazon Connect AI Engineer will deliver AI-driven member service workflows, design and deploy automated agentic features, and enhance an existing Amazon Connect environment while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver phase-one AI capabilities focusing on intelligent routing and autonomous resolution of common queries
• Design AI-first workflows for voice and email, ensuring seamless transitions between automated and agent-assisted interactions
• Integrate Amazon Connect workflows with HubSpot and other systems to provide AI agents with real-time customer context

Required qualifications:

• Strong production experience designing and deploying Amazon Connect contact flows and routing profiles
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect generative AI capabilities, including Amazon Q in Connect
• Expert-level Python skills for AWS Lambda integrations and backend microservices
• Deep implementation experience across the AWS ecosystem, including Lex, Bedrock, and DynamoDB
• Proven experience managing Amazon Connect deployments via Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform
