AWS Architect

Job Summary

To design the AWS environment for application teams, the contract AWS Architect will manage account structures, network layout, identity management, and data center connectivity while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design the AWS Organizations layout and implement baseline guardrails for security and compliance
• Configure identity management and access controls, including IAM Identity Center and KMS
• Architect multi-account network topology and establish hybrid connectivity to the data center

Required qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture, with at least seven years on production AWS
• Hands-on experience architecting at least two AWS landing zones in production
• Proficiency with AWS services such as Organizations, Transit Gateway, and GuardDuty
• Experience running Databricks on AWS in a regulated environment
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
