AWS Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - AWS/Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer IT solutions using AWS native services and custom code for application re-engineering
• Review legacy application code for re-usability and customization, including microservices options
• Design, create, and maintain custom APIs while utilizing GitLab for source control and CI/CD deployment

Required Qualifications

• Experience in software re-engineering efforts
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining AWS-based solutions, including AWS Lambda and Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL
• Strong backend development experience using Next.js; PostgreSQL experience preferred
• Microservices experience and knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• AA/AS degree with 3 years of related experience or HS diploma with 5 years of related experience preferred
