AWS Certified Chief Solution Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the principal technical authority for a large-scale application maintenance and modernization program, the full-time AWS Certified Chief Solution Architect will provide architectural governance and strategic guidance for transitioning legacy systems to AWS cloud services, working remotely or in a hybrid capacity if local to Maryland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership and oversight across all project teams throughout the program lifecycle
• Establish and maintain enterprise architecture standards and governance processes for compliant technical decision-making
• Lead the modernization strategy for transitioning legacy systems to AWS cloud services while ensuring operational continuity

Required qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in architecture domains such as business, solutions, or application architecture
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing enterprise architecture standards in complex environments
• Proven ability to lead technical strategy and modernization initiatives across large-scale engagements
• Experience collaborating with senior government or enterprise stakeholders on architectural decisions
• Working knowledge of federal IT security requirements and compliance frameworks
