AWS Certified Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance developer experience and speed to market, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will contribute expertise in hybrid infrastructure, develop platform capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, working remotely or onsite in Chattanooga, TN.

Key responsibilities:

• Create custom GitHub Actions for building applications and develop script modules for deployment
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and monitor application performance on Kubernetes (EKS)
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with IT architects on strategic initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in platform engineering or related fields
• AWS Certified Developer and AWS Certified Technician certifications
• Strong knowledge of AWS EKS and container orchestration
• Experience with GitOps workflows and monitoring solutions like Grafana and Prometheus
