AWS Certified Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an AWS Certified Platform Engineer for a full-time hybrid role in Princeton, NJ, who will manage cloud infrastructure improvements in AWS, focusing initially on DevOps tasks while expanding into broader platform engineering responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical alignment and deployment readiness reviews with application teams to clarify requirements and dependencies
• Design platform solutions prioritizing operability and supportability, including success criteria and rollback strategies
• Act as a liaison between application development and infrastructure teams, ensuring clear communication and addressing technical and security risks early in the delivery lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active AWS DevOps Engineer Associate or AWS DevOps Solutions Architect Associate Certification required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or in similar roles
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, and RDS, along with Docker, Terraform, and GitHub
• Programming experience, preferably in Python
