Job Summary
As a trusted advisor to client executives, the full-time remote AWS Chief Architect will lead and mentor a team of senior architects, shaping cloud strategy, establishing architecture standards, and driving cloud transformation initiatives across critical business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical authority for AWS Infrastructure Delivery and Cloud Transformation initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Cloud, Network, and Security Architects while enhancing architectural maturity and technical excellence
- Establish enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with security, resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, and Enterprise Architecture
- 8+ years of AWS architecture and cloud transformation experience at a senior technical leadership level
- Proven experience leading teams of 10+ Architects within global delivery organizations
- Strong executive presence with a track record of engaging C-level stakeholders and Architecture Review Boards
- Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale AWS networking architectures and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
