AWS Cloud Administrator with Security+ Certification
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time AWS Cloud Administrator with Security+ Certification, this fully remote position will manage and maintain the Cloud One Zone C AWS GovCloud environment, perform daily cloud operations, and administer Windows domain and server infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the Cloud One Zone C AWS GovCloud environment in support of legacy Air Force HR systems
- Perform daily cloud operations including networking, backups, monitoring, and cost management
- Administer the Windows domain and server infrastructure, including Active Directory and Windows servers
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 8+ years of systems or cloud engineering experience
- Hands-on AWS administration experience covering systems operations, site reliability, and cost management
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Current Security+ CE certification (DoD 8140, IAT Level II)
