AWS Cloud AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the operationalization of AI and Generative AI workloads, the full-time AWS Cloud AI Engineer will engineer, implement, and manage secure, scalable AI/ML platforms within the AWS ecosystem, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in optimizing AWS infrastructure and ensuring high availability for model endpoints and data planes.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and manage AI/ML platforms on AWS, ensuring security and scalability
• Optimize AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for high availability of AI workloads
• Lead the operationalization of modern AI applications, including LLM-powered solutions and advanced monitoring

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with at least 5 years of IT Systems Engineering experience
• Experience deploying and operationalizing AI workloads using services like Amazon SageMaker or Amazon Bedrock
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC2 is a plus
• Proficiency in Python-based machine learning frameworks such as Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Hands-on experience with foundational AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, VPC, KMS, SNS)
