AWS Cloud Application Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the modernization of healthcare transaction processing, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS Cloud Application) will design and build cloud-native application services and APIs within a remote AWS-hosted environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud-native application services and integrations, leveraging AWS-managed services
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven workflows to process healthcare data securely
• Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews while applying modern software engineering best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with significant back-end engineering expertise
• Experience with backend development languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS-native application patterns and cloud integrations
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or distributed-system environments
