AWS Cloud Applications Engineer

Job Summary

AWS Cloud Applications Engineer, responsible for supporting and modernizing healthcare transaction processing and back-end data platforms in a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for healthcare data processing
• Integrate cloud-native application services within an AWS-hosted environment and implement event-driven workflows
• Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews while applying modern software engineering best practices in an Agile environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience, specifically in back-end engineering
• Experience with AWS services and developing cloud-native applications
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or distributed systems
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification required
