AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote AWS Cloud Architect will establish and maintain the AWS cloud environment, ensuring security, scalability, and operational resilience while collaborating with various teams on architectural direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the AWS cloud environment for security and scalability across SaaS product architectures
• Lead cloud architectural direction and governance, ensuring alignment with AWS best practices
• Create actionable designs from complex requirements, promoting innovation and technical excellence

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or solution architecture
• 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native commercial SaaS products
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• AWS Solutions Architect - Professional Certification or similar
• Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and additional AWS specialty or advanced certifications
