Job Summary

A company is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect for a remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture of cloud solutions using AWS CDK and define cloud architecture standards
Architect and oversee the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and implement automated CI/CD workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cloud architectures and provide technical leadership

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture roles
Expert proficiency with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code patterns
Strong technical background in TypeScript or Python for infrastructure automation
Experience with multiple AWS services and knowledge of IaC ecosystems
Understanding of cloud security, cost management, and operational excellence
