AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

AWS Cloud Architect, a remote contract position focused on supporting enterprise applications using AWS cloud, driving migration of legacy systems, and providing hands-on coding expertise in various technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Architect in defining and implementing complex enterprise applications on AWS
• Drive the migration of on-prem legacy applications to AWS cloud and ensure secure, scalable solutions
• Design and develop distributed applications using various architectural styles and lead database design efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise cloud solutions, particularly AWS
• Proven experience in migrating applications to AWS cloud, including legacy systems
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Java and front-end technologies
• Expertise in SOA, Microservices, and distributed processing architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline management and automated testing tools in Agile environments
