AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To support enterprise applications, the contract AWS Cloud Architect will design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud architectures remotely while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS cloud architectures, focusing on scalability, security, and resilience
• Define migration strategies for transitioning on-premises workloads to AWS and oversee infrastructure as code deployments
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain public trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience in AWS cloud architecture or DevOps
• Deep expertise with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, and IAM
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
