AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To design and manage scalable AWS cloud architectures, the remote contract AWS Cloud Architect will implement infrastructure solutions, oversee infrastructure as code deployments, and ensure compliance with security and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud architectures for enterprise applications and data platforms
• Define migration strategies for transitioning on-premises workloads to AWS and contribute to cloud strategy
• Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines and implement monitoring solutions using AWS tools

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience in AWS cloud architecture or DevOps
• Deep expertise with AWS services, including VPC, EC2, S3, and IAM
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Strong development and scripting experience with Python, Boto3, and Bash
