AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To support enterprise applications and data platforms, the contract AWS Cloud Architect will design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud architectures remotely while ensuring compliance with security and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and manage secure, resilient AWS cloud architectures for mission-critical services
• Develop migration strategies for transitioning on-premises workloads to AWS and oversee infrastructure as code deployments
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions while partnering with various teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions

Required qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience in AWS cloud architecture or DevOps
• Deep expertise with AWS services and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Strong development and scripting experience with Python, Bash, and SQL
