AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

Supporting the Lead Architect, the remote contract Sr. AWS Cloud Architect will drive the architecture, design, and migration of complex enterprise applications to AWS cloud while providing expert-level coding and collaborating in Agile environments.

Key responsibilities

• Drive architecture, design, development, and migration of on-prem legacy applications to AWS cloud
• Provide hands-on coding expertise in Java and front-end technologies while leading database design and data modeling
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and uphold code quality standards, ensuring system security and performance during cloud migration

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise cloud solutions with a focus on AWS
• Proven experience in application migration to AWS cloud and using AWS PostgreSQL
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Java (Spring Boot, REST, Security, JPA) and front-end technologies (Angular, HTML5, CSS)
• Deep expertise in SOA, Microservices, and distributed processing architectures
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and CI/CD pipeline management
