AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To support enterprise applications and mission-critical services, the contract AWS Cloud Architect will design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud architectures remotely, ensuring compliance and security while overseeing infrastructure deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage secure, resilient AWS cloud architectures and develop end-to-end infrastructure solutions
• Define migration strategies for transitioning on-premises workloads to AWS and oversee infrastructure as code deployments
• Implement monitoring, observability, and logging solutions while diagnosing and resolving complex cloud infrastructure issues

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain public trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience in AWS cloud architecture or infrastructure automation
• Deep expertise with AWS services and hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Strong development and scripting experience with Python, Boto3, Bash, and SQL
