Job Summary
Providing overall technical leadership for cloud computing efforts, the full-time Cloud Architect will support cloud-based solution design, development, and migration initiatives remotely, ensuring effective cloud solutions within federal government environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cloud pilot initiatives and develop architectural concepts for cloud adoption
- Provide design support for cloud foundation services and assess the quality of cloud solutions
- Support integration with USDA data centers and automation through DevSecOps
Required qualifications
- AWS Cloud Architect certification required
- Experience with cloud-based solution design, development, and migration
- Prior experience integrating with USDA data centers and environments
- Experience with automation through DevSecOps and Azure Security Center
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required
