AWS Cloud Architect
Job Summary
Seeking a Principal AWS Cloud Architect for a remote, full-time position who will design, implement, and optimize scalable AWS networking and observability solutions across multi-account and multi-region environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-VPC architectures and hub-and-spoke connectivity using AWS Transit Gateway and Cloud WAN
- Develop observability solutions with CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and centralized logging architectures
- Automate compliance reporting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud governance
Required qualifications
- 12-15+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure and networking
- Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale AWS networking solutions
- Proficient in compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, and CIS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong knowledge of DNS, routing, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity solutions
