AWS Cloud Architect - Public Trust

Job Summary

To support cloud modernization initiatives, the remote Cloud Architect - Network (Public Trust) will design, implement, and manage advanced AWS networking architectures, ensuring secure and scalable solutions for the Administration for Children and Families.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS networking architectures, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, and VPNs
• Collaborate with security teams to implement network-security controls aligned with Zero Trust architecture
• Evaluate existing network infrastructure and provide recommendations for optimization and migration to AWS

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture, with at least 4+ years in AWS cloud networking
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty certification
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
• Experience implementing network-security controls and compliance with federal security requirements
