Job Summary

To support a long-term contract, the AWS Cloud Database Administrator will design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable database solutions in AWS while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Administer AWS-managed database services, including Amazon RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
  • Migrate on-premises databases to AWS and implement strategies for high availability and disaster recovery
  • Monitor and optimize database performance while integrating operations into CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years of DBA experience supporting AWS cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with AWS database services and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with database migration and modernization tools, including AWS DMS and SCT
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
